Does it work?
  • On April 15, Gov. Jon Corzine made New Jersey the first state in the nation to have a teen driver decal law which requires the use of an identifier on vehicles driven by teens holding a permit or provisional license. Sen. Fred H. In 2006, 7,463 people aged 15 - 20 years old were involved in fatal car crashes. This group of drivers injured another 272,000 people. Check out this article where a teen is senteced to four and half years in prison for three counts of vehicular homicide. He was driving to fast and lost control around a corner killing all three passengers.  Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for people 15 - 20 years old. The annual cost of teen related accidents is 30 to 40 billion dollars. Together we can can doing something about it.
