Did you know?

Hello, my name is Greg and I am the proprietor of HotFoot.info. I would like to share a personal story with you about my mother’s bright red Pontiac Grand Prix.

Speeding while on top of car Trouble began one day when I was finding the small town where I grew up a bit boring and I borrowed my mother’s bright red Pontiac Grand Prix. My buddy bet me that there was no way I could handle sitting on top of the car at a speed of 100 mph. Well, I couldn’t pass up a bet like that!
I sat on top of the car with my feet inside the sunroof, for leverage, and my friend and I proceeded to test his “theory”. Traveling down highway 173 just outside of Tomah WI, we quickly passed other cars and “topped out” at 118mph while I sat on the roof. I recall boastfully proclaiming to my friend that, “I won!”
Looking back, I see what an idiot I was. When I was young I didn’t think far enough ahead to realize what could happen to me, and for the most part when I did, I didn’t care much.
Now I’m not saying that your child is going to be as foolish as my friend and I were, but there are many dangers on the road. If your child is being reckless I’m sure you would want to know. It is very likely that if a service like Hotfoot had existed, my parents would have been able to stop me from doing something as stupid as riding on the roof of a car at 118 mph and probably about a dozen other stupid situations I put myself and my passengers in. I know my mom would have taken away every driving privilege I had, without question. And that’s what I was most afraid of.

Do you really know how your son or daughter drives when you’re not in the passenger seat?

Do you have any experiences you would like to share? I’ll post it on the site for other parents to see.
